Hey mate. We are here at the Black River Watertown and we have taken over Tommy Gun’s field. It’s an interesting place here where the locals really love kayakers. The town is trying to go through some rejuvenation and paddlers coming to Watertown bring in the tourist dollar for them so they are very happy to see us here. The Jackson crew is camping in a field that is only a short walk to the wave which is key indeed as the rest of the competitors are a 10 min drive from here. Last night we all went out to dinner for Mario’s birthday. Congratulations Mario from Costa Rica who turned 32 yesterday, and still kicking on strong.

A few of us went to hole brothers yesterday and had a little fun down there, another great play spot in Watertown.

We have aslo given a few really bad haircuts.

As I sit here I see no clouds in the sky and my only concern currently is to paddle or not. This is the life.
